Strategic Priorities

Vision

Create a membership culture where every Soror:

  • Feels seen and valued

  • Knows where she fits

  • Has flexible ways to serve

  • Experiences intentional sisterhood

Cultivate member engagement through ongoing feedback, meaningful recognition & effective communication. (Navigate through the three points in the black screen below for details.)

Member Engagement: Ongoing Feedback

Multiple methods for feedback to hear the pleasure of the Chapter and adjust strategic focus & execution plans:

  • Short 45-second surveys for busy Sorors

  • Longer surveys for more detail feedback

  • Quick Temperature Checks post Membership Services events for instant feedback

  • Diverse Focus Groups for inputs, creative thought, and synergy

Mobilize members’ unique gifts through broaden service models. (Navigate through the three points in the black screen below for details.)

Broaden Service Models: Who Are We? What Do We Have?

Leverage Members' Skills for Meaningful Engagement:

  • Expand electronic Members Profile to be a database that is searchable and reportable

  • Develop a Talent Bank to align Sorors’ professional skills, gifts, talents, hobbies, affiliations with service projects

  • Use these profiles to also capture insights from Sorors who have previously led committees or chapter initiatives.

Reclaim & reconnect Sorors through CAC branding and strategic partnerships. (Navigate through the three points in the black screen below for details.)

Reclamation & Reconnection: Strategy

Create a Data-Based Reclamation and Reconnection Strategy:

  • Identify financial members who are not actively attending meetings or events using attendance and check-in records.

  • Identify Sorors who are no longer financial through prior rosters and collaboration with the Third Vice President and Strategic Partnerships to reconnect those engaged in other organizations.

These lists will be used strictly for outreach strategy and personal Soror care.

Promote social activities & intergenerational bonding to nurture belonging & sisterly support. (Navigate through the three points in the black screen below for details.)

Meaningful Connection: Social Activities

Plan Inclusive Sisterhood Events

  • Create a social calendar—including Sisterhood Month—based on input from diverse group of Sorors: across ages, Delta tenure, interests, chapters of initiation, etc.  Gather feedback through surveys, polls, and focus groups to design meaningful bonding experiences that all will enjoy!

  • Incorporate quick 'connect' exercises at each gathering, such as a brief 'Get to Know You' activity during the Chapter Photo. This allows members to meet new Sorors while waiting for the photographer, fostering joy and bonding. These short icebreakers enhance camaraderie, ensuring memorable moments captured in photos. Regularly integrating such activities strengthens relationships and creates a welcoming atmosphere for all members.
